Call it a religion or a cult and they’d laugh or be offended. It was a group of people - all ages and manner of dress - who enjoyed being creative and improving their surroundings. They were known to gather on roadsides, collecting trash and planting flowers, often while listening to music and imbibing natural psychedelics. Invite them to your home and they’d organize your closet or rearrange your furniture, or they’d bake cookies and fix your bicycle. But only if you asked nicely, and never in exchange for money.

Once a year they held a festival and made art based on the entity which inspired them; a mysterious being known as Kro Nyzr that was said to encourage creativity and care for one’s environment. They wrote fictional backstories and produced drawings and sculptures, often depicting Kro Nyzr in comical ways. A favorite portrayal of Kro Nyzr centered on a little paper ghost with magical powers, sometimes trapped in an amber-like substance.

Among group members, psychic abilities were highly advanced. One afternoon a few participants undertook an experiment in which, just for fun, they used their combined mental skills to create album of electronic music and insert it roughly 200 years into their historical past. But they miscalculated and the album that would have been groundbreaking in 1976 landed instead on the internet in 2021 to be ignored or receive scathing reviews - such as one that called it “an audio abomination capable of causing the known universe to cringe itself into non-existence”. That was extremely funny to the creators, so the experiment was deemed a resounding success!
